Georgetown county native Sheila Clark Sanders suffered a severe stroke on October 10,2019 and remains hospitalized at MUSC in Charleston.
Her husband Lucky “ Bubba” Sanders remains at her side while she receives care. Their children, Jesse & Janna are both back in Georgetown attending school, being cared for by friends and family.
This fund is to help our beloved Sanders family make it through this difficult time. The monies raised will help this family with medical and daily expenses while both parents are out work.
Right now Sheila has swelling in her brain which we hope will not require surgery, but be handled with a sodium IV drip. Sheila is still in the very early stages of this medical emergency. We do not yet know the prognosis and what lies ahead for Sheila and her family. We don’t know when she will leave the hospital, but we know when she does she will be placed in a hospital rehabilitative facility for several weeks or more. She will require care and rehab when she does return home.
We are hoping this fund helps ease the burden this emergency has placed on this family our community loves and treasures.
