Hello, this is John.......

I'm a loving husband and father who is a welder/fabricator for the C.L. Rieckhoff company for 20 years. I'm a hardcore Detroit Lions fan, animal lover, and a gardening enthusiast.....especially cannabis. I love to share my passion and wisdom with everyone. This knowledge has helped countless people learn to become self-sufficient by growing what they need medically in life.

It was with much heartache and surprise that I was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. This comes as a devastating blow to my family, friends, and the canna community.

I believe in life everyone should help each other out any way you can by being honest, generous, caring, sharing, and giving because it will all come back to you tenfold.

Unfortunately, life has a twisted sense of humor and now I need to reach out to everyone in need of financial assistance. Nothing is ever certain in life but right now I really need the same love and support sent back to me tenfold.

For a month now, I have been having trouble eating meals, heartburn, and abdominal pains. After the Lions game on September 28th, I went to the hospital thinking they would find a stomach ulcer, give me meds, and send me home.... Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and I ended up staying in the hospital for a week. They did find an adjacent mass to be concerned about and it was determined to be malignant. Unfortunately, it has metastasized and caused liver spots. I can no longer eat solid foods which has caused me to be stuck on a liquid diet since September 29th. I have lost a ton of weight and become malnourished and dehydrated.

I'm the sole provider for my household, so as you can imagine, this is a huge blow. Now the worry of how I will do with the treatments and how to continue to provide for my family is on my mind. I need some relief that my home and family are secure, to ease my mind and help me get through this rough and long never-ending journey that I will be on for the rest of my life.

I know that times are tough so as much as I hate to ask, I need all the help I can get to support my family through this devastating time. Every little bit helps and we would be so extremely grateful to everyone who could help out.
