Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Nick, who’s going through one of the toughest times in his life. After suffering a major heart attack, due to blood clots that travelled creating life threatening complications, he endured three major surgeries, spent four days in a medically induced coma, and weeks in the ICU. Thankfully he is now in the process of healing. He has truly beat the odds, but it’s going to take months before he can get back to work. His day to day is now filled with weekly doctor’s appointments and preparing for yet another upcoming surgery in early December. As many of you know, Nick is a talented hairdresser who relies on his daily income from his craft. And right now, he’s unable to do what he loves.

Recently, Nick moved into an apartment that he’s incredibly proud of. It’s something he worked so hard to achieve. Right now, with no income coming in and mounting medical bills, he’s facing financial strain that’s adding to the stress of his recovery. Although Nick is too proud to ask for help, I know how much he needs it right now.

I’ve gone back and forth about setting this up, but I can’t stand by and watch him lose what he’s worked so hard for. He needs time to rest and recover without the pressure of forcing himself back to work against his doctors’ orders.

Nick is loved by so many, and I know any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Nick has a heart of gold and wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone in need. Let’s come together and help him get through this so he can focus on healing and get back to doing what he does best.
