Bhagwan Singh & Family from Baba Bakala Sahib

Bhagwan Singh was a resident of Baba Bakala Sahib (Dist Amritsar). He had just recently left his home country with no choice but to leave behind his wife and three young children Ashneet (11), Manroop (4) and Vanshdeep (2) with dreams of a better life for himself and his family. He was the sole provider for his family and had moved to New York with hopes that his family could experience a better quality of life. Bhagwan had taken loans in order to pay agents to get to the USA. He was a very hard worker who sacrificed everything for his family and left home without knowing it would cost him his life. Their father will now return home deceased because of the unforeseen and devastating event that took place during his construction job where he fell from stories on a building to his death. Since he was an immigrant with no family in the USA, the company he had worked for during his time of death refused to aid his family in any way. Our family and friends are raising money in hopes to help his family pay back the debt of funeral and burial costs as his body has been transported back home and hope to provide his family with a safe place to heal while his three children and wife grieve the loss of their loved one as their house should be their safe haven, not a financial burden. His wife is now having to pick up the pieces with very limited resources and opportunity as unexpected tragedies also bring unexpected expenses. This fundraiser will be used to help Bhagwan Singh and his family during this hardship and create the life their beloved father and husband once dreamt of.
