Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mother-in-law, Debbie, who is currently in the fight of her life against stage 4 breast cancer. The cancer has spread to her liver, lungs, and bones, and she is now unable to work due to her health.

If you’ve ever met Debbie, you know how big her heart is. She’s spent years working as a waitress at Kelley’s, always serving others with a smile, kind words, and genuine care. Debbie has touched so many lives through her kindness and hard work — she’s the kind of person who remembers your order, your story, and always makes you feel like family.

Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Debbie has been fighting with incredible strength and grace, but this journey has been tough. She’s in the process of applying for disability, which takes time, and although she has Gold Card coverage, she’s still paying out of pocket for medications, treatments, and basic living expenses. Without insurance, the costs add up quickly — and we want her to be able to focus on healing, not bills.

We’re setting this fundraiser goal to help cover her medical expenses, medication, and daily living costs while she continues treatment. Every donation — no matter how big or small — will go directly toward helping Debbie in this fight.
