A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE
Donation protected
This year my boys and I are in need of a Christmas Miracle. It is only because I have exhausted all my options and now time is quickly running out that I must reach out to my facebook friends and family for help.
Some of you read that I have been experiencing a great deal of pain due to a bulging disk in my lower back as well as an injury to my right rotator cuff that occurred this past Sept. What I haven't spoken about was that until Nov 1st I had been without Medical Insurance for approximately 3 months due to an audit of our MN state health care and a request for proof of citizenship that was sent to an old address with a 10 day window for return. Because they did not receive documents in time my insurance was revoked. It took three months to get straightened out and reinstated.
During this time I was unable to get treatment for my physical condition as well as my antidepressants/anti-anxiety medication. Without these my symptoms become nearly unmanageable. Between all of this my ability to continue working the way is required of a single mother to manage a household solo was lacking greatly.
On top of this we had extra automobile expenses. Come Nov 1st there just wasn't the money to pay the rent.
I was only able to start seeking treatment the beginning of this month for my physical symptoms, and now back on my medication so my mood is quickly improving. Unfortunately we have suffered a great deal financially. I have applied for emergency assistance, as well as supplemental income since I have a medical opinion form stating I am unable to work more than 20 hours per week while I work on my rehabilitation. if you have ever been through this process it is not quick and there are many hoops to jump through. Also unfortunately my landlord is not willing to work with me. He filed for eviction on the 12th of Nov even though in the year I have rented this is the first time I have ever been late. We went to court on the 26th. I was granted until Dec 3rd to pay the remaining part of Nov rent plus now incurred court fees and given only one additional day to come up with all of Dec rent. Failure to come up with these funds is grounds for immediate eviction. The most unfortunate of all is that Nicolas was 18 when we signed the lease and this will affect his record permanently even though he was still in high school at the time. He just doesn't deserve to start his future this way.
If you are able to donate anything at all it would mean so much to my family. I hate having to ask for help but am reminded it takes a village and so now I am asking for the help of my village. You can select to donate anonymously if you choose. I know my God will bless you abundantly for any small amount you can mange. Times are tough for everyone right now. I pray that someday I can pay it forward. I assure you I will make every attempt to do so. Please help me in the making of a miracle!! All my love!
