Unexpected death before Christmas

Hello, my name is Tanya. The man in the photo is my husband of 12 years, Joey, and our 11 year old daughter Brie. I created this fundraiser because on Sunday, December 19th, we lost Joey, very unexpectedly, at the age of 46, to a COVID related illness.

Like many, we spent the majority of our savings to give our daughter the best Christmas possible, and now I have found myself in an emergency situation, needing over $2000, to pay for my husband's final expenses.

While my daughter should be thinking about what Santa will be bringing her for Christmas in a few days, she is now trying to understand why she doesn't get to spend Christmas day with her Daddy.
