Help My Dad Recover

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I am Olivia, reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share my father's story and to seek your support during this incredibly challenging time.

My dad, Sam, is the most hardworking man and the backbone of the family. Seven years ago, my dad received a kidney transplant and life finally felt normal again. Over a month ago, my dad was found slumped over the wheel, unable to move. He was rushed to the hospital and after lots of testing and scans, it was revealed that his kidney was failing again, a blood clot was found, and he developed pneumonia. He is now back on dialysis after seven years. The pneumonia has left him with fluid in his lungs, and he was diagnosed with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, and unfortunately, it has only been getting worse with no sign of improvement. He has been in the hospital for over a month, fighting to recover, and my family is now overwhelmed with the reality of medical bills. My dad has been our family’s biggest support and now he needs my support in this critical time. Anyone who knows my dad knows how chatty, hardworking, strong, and outgoing he is and how much he loves spending time with his family and friends.

The financial burden we are now facing is daunting. Between hospital bills and ongoing medical care, the expenses are more than we can bear. I am reaching out to our family and friends for help.
