Audrey Rose

Hello everyone, if you're reading this, it is most likely because you knew my little sister. Audrey, whether that's what you called her, or maybe you called her Nana, Nanabear, Adrinana, Aud, or even her actual name, Adriana. And if you are still reading this, it is even more likely that you loved her, and if that's true, then it is with complete certainty that she loved you too. Audrey was most thoughtful, most generous, most affectionate, and most loving. She was irresponsibly understanding and had an undefeatable sense of humor.

Audrey is my little sister, but she is also a big sister, daughter, girlfriend, granddaughter, cousin, niece, friend, and, if you were really lucky, you were any of these, and her best friend too. She is my little sister, but she is all of our best friends. She is so overwhelmingly loved, and her absence is deafening.

On November 21, 2022, shortly after midnight, Audrey was driving when another vehicle crossed multiple lanes of traffic and a center lane onto the wrong side of the road and collided with her car.

We were told that it all happened in an instant.

I am trying my best to write this in a way that she would feel okay with, but I know she didn't want any of this.

As we make these arrangements, we do so with crushed hearts. Nothing can, or ever will, remotely fill the space left behind by her laugh or her smile.

I could have stared at this computer screen for days trying to find a number that made sense. We only wish to honor Audrey's memory and bring together all those who loved her.

My family, her friends, and I can't express how difficult it is to reach out for help at this time. Nothing can possibly prepare anyone for this, and the life lost does not cover the following costs. I chose 7 because it was her favorite number.

We can only begin to thank all those who loved and looked after Audrey. Any donation or message is deeply and sincerely appreciated by all of us.

Audrey's services will be held on December 5th, 12pm at Perez Funeral Home in Camarillo.
