Hi, my name is Brandon. A couple of weeks ago, my life changed in a way I never saw coming. After being accidentally elbowed in the head, I had a seizure that sent me to the emergency room. An MRI was done, and I soon had a brain biopsy that revealed Stage Two Brain Cancer. After the biopsy, I underwent an urgent right awake tumor resection surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible.
I’m 23, had just graduated, and was in the middle of searching for my first real job. Instead of starting that next chapter, I found myself going through multiple procedures and preparing for major surgery. The awake resection was intense and surreal—something I never imagined facing at this age.
Right now, I’m recovering from surgery and preparing to begin chemotherapy and radiation in the next couple of weeks. It has been overwhelming at times, but I’m staying steady and focusing on healing day by day.
I created this GoFundMe to help with medical costs and the basic day-to-day things I’ll need while going through treatment and recovery. Any support or prayers during this time truly mean a lot to me. Thank you for reading my story and for being here with me during this unexpected chapter.
