Send the Gigabots to Worlds!
Tax deductible
The Boys & Girls Club of Meriden's Robotics team The Gigabots has made the Robotics World Championship! This’ll be the third time our Gigabots have qualified to be one of the 800 teams from all over the world to be invited but the second time our young Meriden competitors get to go (2020 was the first year and was subsequently canceled).
The World Championship, called the VEX IQ Competition, grants youth the opportunity to engage in robotics challenges that enhance their engineering skills through hands-on STEM learning. The focus is to foster student development of the teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills required to prepare them to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
Help us raise funds to provide our Gigabots the chance to compete on a global scale! All donations will directly benefit travel expenses.
Donors of $250 or more will have their names placed on the back of The Gigabot's team shirts!
Thank you for helping us contribute to the continued growth and success of our Gigabots!
