Boerne ISD's favorite cafeteria manager could use some support right now. Heather Sigler was diagnosed with breast cancer and will need to undergo a pretty serious surgery next month. As we all know, health insurance only goes so far. Between numerous appointments with specialists, biopsies, MRI, ultrasounds and now the upcoming surgery...the medical bills are really beginning to add up AND the hospital wants the deductible paid before the surgery. She will have a double mastectomy with a DIEP procedure at the same time. This is a major surgery (usually about 8 hours) and will take months to heal from and then she will have a Phase 2 surgery that will then take weeks to recover from.

Heather is the best and most dependable person. There are not even words to express just how incredible and committed she is to her kids who she feeds breakfast and lunch to each and every day. She is easily the most hardworking woman around!

Heather is a giver, which means receiving is not easy for her. We had to beg her to let us do this for her. We just want to ease the financial burden so she can focus on what is important and not stress about what bills are coming her way.
