It is with great sorrow and sadness that our beloved friend, Leonard Dennis Ash, has passed away. He peacefully left us while sleeping on the night of May 26, 2023. He was cherished by so many and brought so much happiness and humor (albeit, a very unique one!) to our lives. We know him from the Alcott dog park and Kobey’s Swap Meet. He was a constant to many of us; always there, ready to make us laugh or offer kind words and his friendship. He was a lovable guy, and loved by many.

It was without fail that whenever we saw Dennis, Brandy was right at his side, usually staring up at him in total adoration. Dennis was her world, and Brandy is devastated. You can see it in her eyes, expression, and body language. Robin and Joe (Dennis’ long-time dear friends) took Brandy in right away without hesitation, and their dog Boss is keeping Brandy company. But Brandy needs a permanent home. Lovingly, Debbie (also Dennis’ dear long-time friend) has graciously offered to take Brandy into her home and give her the love and care she needs.

We are raising funds to go towards Brandy’s care (food, vet, and other essentials).
