As most of my friends and family know, I am officially in remission after battling stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. (Hip hip!!!) I am back at school teaching my fifth grade loves, and am thankful for every second I get to spend with them. Unfortunately, I just had to pick up an additional part-time job on the weekends as the medical bills start rolling in. Each round of chemotherapy alone was around $17,000.00. With medications, regular scans, and two hospital stays, I am very grateful for health insurance. Even though the majority of the bills are covered by insurance, I am realizing the bills are still much greater than one teacher can handle. I had a few friends suggest this site for help.
