Leopoldo Gonzalez Memorial Fund

My name is Mayra Randt, it is with great sorrow that I have to share the news that my father Leopoldo Gonzalez and my grandmother Bertha Salazar lost their battle to COVID-19 on January 14th and 15th. My father was an amazing, loving, caring man and as many know wouldn't hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Leopoldo is survived by Alicia Gonzalez (my mother), my father was the sole breadwinner and financially supported  my mother most of her adult life. Bertha Salazar is survived by her 5 sons and grandchildren, Bertha has 6 sons but Leopoldo and her lost the tragic battle to COVID-19.

We are trying to raise as much as possible to cover funeral, burial expenses and financial support for Leopoldo surviving family, Leopoldo was the sole breadwinner. No donations are too small and we are grateful for anything that can be done. We are hoping the community can help us reach $25,000 to support all these expenses. If you could please keep Leopoldo and Bertha's family in your prayers it is greatly appreciated.

Mi nombre es Mayra Randt,  y es con mucho dolor que tengo que compartir que mi padre Leopoldo Gonzalez y mi abuela Bertha Salazar perdieron la batalla por el COVID-19 EL 14 y 15 de Enero. Mi padre era un hombre increíble, amado y querido y como muchos saben no dudaría en echar la mano a quien lo necesite.  A Leopoldo sobrevive Alicia Gonzalez (mi madre), mi padre era el único sostén de la familia y sostuvo económicamente a mi madre la mayor parte de su vida adulta. A Bertha Salazar le sobreviven sus 5 hijos y nietos. Bertha tiene 6 hijos, pero Leopoldo  y ella perdieron la trágica batalla contra COVID-19.

Estamos tratando de recaudar tanto como sea posible para cubrir los gastos de funeral, entierro y apoyo financiero para la familia sobreviviente de Leopoldo, Leopoldo era el único sostén de la familia.Ninguna donación es demasiado pequeña y estamos agradecidos por todo lo que se pueda hacer. Esperamos que la comunidad pueda ayudarnos a alcanzar los $ 25,000 para cubrir todos estos gastos. Si pudiera mantener a la familia de Leopoldo y Bertha en sus oraciones, se lo agradeceríamos mucho.
