I am a 71 year old man with congestive heart failure and stenosis who failed an apartment inspection and was in arrears on rent.  I have spent the past two months seeking legal help and Aging Office but the results are minimal.

I’m so sorry I didn’t plan nor save for an event like this.

I am frightened and worried sick. My efforts to gain assistance have failed.

Won’t you please help me? I’m facing the loss of my belongings because I can’t afford moving and storage. I’ve had to appeal my efforts to find a new dwelling due my low credit score. I really need your help. This is humbling, embarrassing, and deeply depressing.

Grave Update. I had set the amount above to include moving costs, and the front loads to get a new dwelling.

Several of my friends helped me privately from time to time; and apparently will not continue to help now.
