Mother of 3 in need of help
We are in need of your help. On Sunday, August 22nd, Cassandra (Sandy) was visiting a friend when she was shot on her way home. She is currently fighting for her life. Her home was also vandalized and cement was poured down her drains, flooding her crawl space and bathroom. Sandy has three children who depend on her and her family needs all the help we can get covering her home and any medical expenses that arise. Homicide Unit detectives are pursuing active leads in this morning’s critical shooting of Cassandra Mayes, 41, who was found at 8:15 a.m. shot in the head inside her SUV in a parking lot of Chimney Top Apartments in Antioch. Mayes’ wound is life threatening.
Mayes had visited a friend at the apartment complex and was in the process of leaving when witnesses heard a single gunshot. Mayes was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in extremely critical condition.
