We are asking friends and family near and far to help Rebecca Puor Bethou, late wife of SPLM/A veteran Mager Achiek Tol. She has been hospitalized in Nairobi since April and she need brain surgery. Family couldn’t afford medical bill, and they are appealing to you for your help.

My name is Elizabeth Anyop, the daughter to late Gen. Niknora Mager Achiek Tol. Pertaining the above subject, I wish to notify you that, my mother (Rebecca Puor Bethou) has been sick since January 2018. She was taken to various medical facilities in South Sudan for check-ups and there was no proper diagnosis made until she was brought to Nairobi in October 2018 for further investigation and possible treatment. She was later found to have a type of brain tumor known as atypical meningioma. This had affected her brain and the central nervous system causing imbalance, characterized by severe headache and temporary loss of memory. The neurologist who diagnosed the disease recommended her for brain surgery as the remedy which became impossible to operate immediately due to lack of money.
Unfortunately nothing changed as the tumor was not fully removed by the neurosurgeon. Recently, she became too sick until she was re-hospitalized at the Reliance Hospital for twelve days from April 25th to May 7th 2020 attracting a bill of United States dollars, Six thousand ($6,000). This was paid by my brother in-law with help of his former employer, Paul Karekezi – GIBB MD, and his friends like Dr. Takleab. To make it worse, the tumor was found to have grown big again and thus, the doctor recommended another surgery estimated at a cost of United States dollars seventeen to twenty thousand dollars ($17,000 - $20,000). A procedure to be done by an experienced doctor named C.K. Musau at the Nairobi Hospital as soon as possible due to her worsening condition. Unfortunately, we as a family have exhausted the little we had on her previous treatment and subsequent hospitalizations. At the moment, we have no any other means to help us raise the amount. I am therefore requesting for your assistant in order to rescue her dear life.
