Cats injured in house fire

Donation protected
The Jones' household was destroyed on Sunday evening by a fire.  Their three cats - Bo, Molly and Blu were rescued from the rubble by  firefighters and neighbors.  They were transferred to the Veterinary Emergency and Surgery Hospital for emergency care while homeowners, Donna and Joe were brought to a nearby hospital for evaluation where they have since been discharged.

Molly did not sustain any injuries other than smoke inhalation. Blu has more significant smoke inhalation and has been on oxygen since Sunday night.  Both are recovering daily.

Bo did not fare as well as his brother and sister.  He took the brunt of the smoke inhalation and sustained 2nd degree burns to all four paws.  He is showing improvements but it will be a long road of healing ahead.  Despite his injuries, he is the sweetest, most affectionate boy.

They love their kitties deeply and want to make sure they have the best care possible. We are asking for any donations to ease the financial burden for Donna and Joe as they pick up the pieces and try to move forward.
