Hello! We are Idalia and Yasin and we are the founders of Beyond the Seams!(BTSPhilly)

We began BTS with absolutely nothing in our pockets and a lot of luck. We both wanted to create something that aligned with our passions (clothing, arts, and community). So was born Beyond the Seams, a creative space that also offers screen printing and embroidery services. A one stop shop for local clothing brand entrepreneurs.

Creating a brand? We can help you bring your vision to life with some market guidance, design, a space for you to sell your products, and host a pop up! A local artist looking to sell your work without loosing an arm and a leg? We commission merchandise with no upfront costs. Just a small 25% commission of sale plus an art showcase event for free! 

But then, COVID19...

What's happening now in the midst of a global pandemic? The heart of our mission, community, is put on hold. We are not hosting any events due to our limited space.  So no art shows, no pop ups, no music listening sessions until we are in the clear and that is really breaking our hearts.  

What can we do??

We have a back yard! We can use our outside space to safely host limited capacity pop up events and art shows! 

What's the delay?

 - A giant rotted tree that needs to be removed. (Super unsafe)

 - Tons of weeds that need to be taken out for good

 - Some ground work. Gotta level out the floor
 
 - Make it pretty! We are thinking some twinkling lights and a removable outdoor      tent for cloudy days. Some outdoor seating as well! 

 - Maybe even commission a local artist to paint a funky cool mural!

The biggest issues we need help with are in bold.  With your help, we are hoping we can, again, provide a space to bring YOU, our community,  together in a safe and manageable way during these uncertain times. 

By When?

Ideally by November 1st! We are in the talks of hosting an art show and we think the outside space would make it possible!

There isn't anything better than community and arts to lift spirits up! It would mean the world to us and we can't wait to be with our BTSFAM again!
