Medical Fund for Baby Ben

Hi!  I am a co-worker of Nirvana Rosic--one of the sweetest nurses I have ever worked with!  Nirvana delivered a sweet baby boy Ben in September at just 28 weeks due to preeclampsia.  Ben has had rough start in life but he is a fighter, and so is momma who is the most amazing advocate for him.

Ben has been in the NICU at the University of Iowa since birth.  He has severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia and pulmonary hypertension (lung diseases).  He has a tracheostomy and is being medically paralyzed to keep him stable. 

The doctors in Iowa City have  reached out to Cincinnati Children's Hospital to see if they will take Ben on as a patient.  If they do, Ben will be taken by plane with his dad Adis, while Nirvana stays back to work so that Ben can have health insurance.  She will commute back and forth each week to be with her son.

As you can imagine, the medical and travel expenses are adding up.

Nirvana is far to modest to ask for help, but I wanted to set up a page for those that would like to help with Baby Ben's medical expenses.  Nirvana is so sweet, and I want her to have the funds to go be with her baby whenever she wants!
