On Sunday, September 7, 2025, I received a call from my future husband that he had been in a car accident while on his way to a call for work. The accident left him with several serious injuries and a long road ahead of him for recovery.

The impact of the accident was severe, and Erik was taken to the hospital by ambulance. At this time, he has already undergone surgery and continues to recover in the hospital. His family and I are so very grateful that God spared his life. However, with the extent of his injuries, we are looking at at least 3-6 months for recovery, if not longer.

We have had so much love and support from family, friends, and coworkers, and several have asked about ways that they can donate in order to help us while Erik is out of work. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated.
