Two years ago, my sister Bev was diagnosed with abdominal cancer. She met this fight with the same indomitable spirit that she brought to every chapter of her life, continuing her work as a student counselor and family therapist while also raising her son, Michael. She is perhaps the strongest woman I know.

Now her fight is coming to an end. 

But the medical bills for her 24 months of treatment have drained her resources even as the disease has ravaged her body. Now, as hospice staff work to manage her pain in her last days, she needs your help to pay for funeral expenses, outstanding medical bills, and support Michael, who is entering adulthood while losing his mom.
