Hi My Name is Bev
I'm Married to Paul, I have 3 Children, Brandon (26), Georgina (20), and Alida (20). My Family mean the absolute world to me, and they have been My absolute rock throughout my whole journey.
I was first diagnosed in Nov 2023 with Follicular Lymphoma Cancer.
My journey has been quit turbulent.
Unfortunately in May 2024 My Cancer transformed in to Non Hodgkin Lymphoma, meaning that this was now a Terminal diagnose. The Cancer was now in My Liver, Spleen, Chest, Groin and Blood.
In August 2024 I had 3 strokes and was told that I would not make it to Christmas of 2024. But I kept on fighting
During this time I have had 5 lots of Chemo, 1 immunotherapy treatment and 5 Radiotherapy Treatments. This resulted in me losing my hair and becoming very weak, and my immune system was at its lowest.
Then unexpectedly, in February 2025, My Consultant told me that I was in remission, this was amazing news and I was overjoyed as were my Family & Friends. However, my happiness was short lived, as I found out after only 3 months (May) that the aggressive Cancer had come back!
I spent the next few months without any further treatment, and then sadly in September 2025 all my treatment had to stop, as the doctors believe that there was nothing else that could be done at this stage in My Cancer Journey.
In January 2026 I had a routine PET Scan, which showed that the Cancer had spread throughout even more of my body and this was completely devastating news for Me & My Family which we are all still trying to comprehend!
As hard as this is to type, I feel that I want to let you all know that time for me in now very limited and I have been given only 3 to 6 months to live.
So My Final wish, would be to be able to Travel with My Husband Paul on a cruise around the Norwegian Fjords to see the Northern Lights
To be open and honest about Our situation, due to my ongoing illness, Paul has become My fulltime carer and has had to give up his job, and this of course has resulted in financial hardship for the Family.
Hence, why I have created this Go Fund Me Page, with My amazing Friend Emma who I met when Her Wife Shan was going through her treatment at The Manchester Christie, sadly Shan lost her life to Cancer in Nov 24, but we have remained Good Friends ever since.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and if you feel like you could help in anyway, every little penny counts, and I would be forever grateful
Thank You All
Lots of Love
Bev & Family
