Beverly's Stroke Recovery Journey

Our names are Tim and Carol Moore. Beverly is our daughter-in-law, married to our son Jesse. On Friday, September 23rd, Beverly's life changed suddenly. Her son, Jonah, found she had fallen on the kitchen floor. He got his father, Jesse, who noticed symptoms of a stroke. An ambulance was called, and they found a brain aneurysm at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Beverly was immediately transferred to the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City and underwent craniotomy surgery to relieve pressure from her brain. The U of I only allows two people to visit daily and must be the same two people for 24 hours. Jesse, Jonah, her daughter Ashley, and her son Cole are taking shifts in pairs as she starts her recovery journey. She has survived breast cancer and is a FIGHTER! They have a long road ahead of them. Prayers, encouragement, and support through your thoughts, finances, or meals are greatly appreciated during this long road to recovery.
