On Monday, I lost my best friend, my rock, my role model but most importantly, my mother. In April, we received news that no one ever wants to hear in their lifetime -- she was diagnosed with Leukemia coupled with a gene mutation and needed to start treatment immediately. And that's exactly what she did.
For those of you that met or worked with her, you know she was an independent, strong-willed, funny, compassionate person among many other great characteristics that made her who she was. This never changed with each round of chemo -- she was always making friends with the nurses and doctors, cracking jokes to keep the mood light, and never gave up throughout her entire journey.
Please donate to this campaign if you would like to help with her afterlife costs. My family and I thank you in advance for any and all contributions <3
