Bevan's 100km Run for Cancer and Mental Health

Hello there,

This May I'll be completing a 100km ultra-marathon run through the city of Perth, 10 laps of the bridge loop between Mitchell Freeway and the Causeway. This event will aim to raise money for both the Cancer Council of Western Australia and Beyond Blue.

Over the last few years, multiple people around me have been impacted by Cancer and I've never really understood how to show support or be able to help. So this year I've decided to challenge myself physically to raise funds to help those around me in need. In doing so I also wanted to raise awareness of the importance of getting out and getting moving to help support your own mental health (I just decided I would move to the extreme myself).

Of course, another big part of both these charities is community (cheesy I know, but true). So, for each donation, you will have the option to receive a running plan thanks to one of our sponsors Land2Sea performance for a distance of 5, 10 or 20km. This plan aims to get you guys ready to join me on May 26th and help me endure the potential of 12+ hours of running. If you don't want to run that day that's fine I would just love to see you all down on the South Perth foreshore on the day. More details to come...
