Bev Wright is Braving the Shave

I am braving the shave to raise much needed funds for Pendlside Hospice in memory of my dear friend David 'Tids' Turner. He was looked after in this wonderful place for many months at the end of his life, after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in June 2019.

The incredible staff not only provided him with vital medical care, but the emotional support given to him and the whole family was invaluable which continued with bereavement support.

He was so very special to me and to many others and I will be forever grateful to Pendleside for taking such great care of him. Tids himself would have probably done something amazing to fundraise,but I am not that adventurous, so a head shave it is!

More information about Pendleside Hospice: Pendleside Hospice provides care and support to people in the Burnley & Pendle area that have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness. Care is provided free of charge to anyone that needs it either within our Hospice building at Reedley, out in the community or within a patients own home. Care and support is extended to the patients family and carers.
