Bev Owens - please help with need for care giver

Last August, Bev Owens, a 73 year old widow, had a horrible fall on the cement driveway at home. This fall was devastating to her body, & also her finances. Five levels of her spine dropped, causing severe pain. After a hospital stay, she had to have major lumbar spinal fusion reconstructive surgery. Unfortunately, she was under anesthesia for about 6 hours. Her surgeon said that he had to stop operating due to her age, and also the danger of her either having a heart attack or stroke...She was left  in severe pain. She was in the hospital for 12 days, then sent to a Rehabilitation Facility, then was sent home. Since she is a widow living alone, she wasn’t able to take care of even her basic needs, and required 24/7 care for almost 3 months. The costs have been overwhelming to her. The hourly rate for their care is $18.00/hour. The last 3 months, she was able to use them on a part-time basis.
