Help me get my life back

Hi my name is Cheryl, I’m a 40 year old mum of 2, I work in care, in 2023 I had an accident that caused a small hematoma which should have dissolved in the following weeks/months… this unfortunately didn’t happen it in fact continued to grow to the enormous size we are at now, the chronic expanding hematoma is a rare side effect from trauma and very rarely gets to this size, mine has encapsulated the siatic nerve which runs through most of our bodies, as you can imagine this caused excruciating pain and has triggered the nervous system into myalgic encephalomyelitis, sleeping is extremely difficult because it’s located on the back and expands to the hip so back sleeping and side sleeping is impossible, on side is on it and the other side the weight of it drags down.

I am still employed and continued to work with this but my role involves the most complex of care and isn’t possible at the moment so I’m now on ssp which is unsustainable. The nhs waiting lists are so long and referral times are never ending, I’m currently waiting for some interventions pre surgeries as surgical intervention is all that will help now, I’ve used my saving to pay what I can upto now but I’m still going to be some short.

all I want is my life to be back as it was, to return to work and be able to be there properly for my children, I never imagined I’d be in a position like this but life can flip turn on anyone in the blink of an eye, hopefully some of my good karma can come back now as I’m in need,
