Hey! We are Between Earth and Voice, a youth led multi-disciplinary organisation based in Tameside. Since setting up in 2025, under our founders Chloe Gorrod and Joseph Horrocks, we have achieved so many milestones. Our first show at Stalybridge Civic Hall in October 2025 welcomed over 100 audience members, providing a thought-provoking emotional experience, exploring themes such as youth voice, feminism, love and hope. The show encapsulated our company's values, harnessing the power of youth creativity, through combining elements such as spoken word and movement with less commonly associated art forms like world carnival music and dance. Moving into 2026, we were fortunate enough to have won Mossley SOUP, a crowdfunding opportunity, allowing us to now run a week-long workshop style intensive for young people 13-18 at The Vale Mossley in August. Through this, we want to show young people how the arts can be a viable career, giving them a space to discover and broaden their creativity. Following this our main team plan to create a brand new show to take to Edinburgh fringe in 2027.

We appreciate that money might be tight in these times but any donations would be greatly appreciated. This will not only impact the projects we can run, it will also benefit the local community, allowing us to raise awareness and encourage people to pursue the creative arts as a career path. All of these factors will provide the local community with its next generation of creative artists, enhancing Tameside's contribution to arts in the North.
