In the displacement camps of the Moassi Khan Younis area, thousands of displaced people live in harsh humanitarian conditions amid simple tents that lack the most basic elements of life. As temperatures have risen dramatically, water has become one of the most urgent and difficult to access needs.

Through this campaign, we seek to provide water supplies, extend water lines to the most needy camps, secure water access to hundreds of displaced families who face thirst daily, as well as contribute to alleviating the suffering of the most needy families of the sick and the elderly who suffer from food shortages and basic life needs

Dozens of families suffer daily from water scarcity, as children, women and the elderly have to wait long hours for a limited amount of water enough to drink and basic uses. Water is often not regularly available, which increases the suffering of the population and threatens their health and safety.

Suffering is not limited to lack of water only, but extends to the scarcity of food and the absence of basic needs, as many families live long days on simple meals that are not enough to satisfy hunger, in light of high prices and difficulty in obtaining food. Patients and the elderly also face very difficult situations due to poor possibilities and lack of proper nutrition and necessary care, which increases their daily suffering and puts their lives at risk.

Life inside the camps has become more harsh with continued displacement, siege and the absence of basic services. Families who have lost their homes and livelihood today find themselves struggling to secure the most basic human rights: clean drinking water, food that fills hunger, and a decent life that preserves their human dignity..
