2025 has been a year of unimaginable challenges for me. In January, I suffered a stroke that changed everything, and soon after, I underwent open-heart surgery. Recovery has been slow and difficult, but I’ve always tried to stay strong and find my way through tough times. In May, I faced another heartbreak when I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog, who had been my companion through so much.

As the year went on, things didn’t get easier. In September, I was asked to move from the place I’d called home for three years. With little money and even less energy, I managed to get through the move thanks to the kindness of friends, but it meant paying a huge security deposit and first month’s rent, leaving me with almost nothing. Just when I thought I might catch my breath, I was in a car accident two days before Thanksgiving. My car was totaled, and now I have no transportation and no food in the refrigerator. Being unable to work right now, I’m worried about falling behind on bills and not being able to make it through the month.

I don’t normally like to ask for help, but this year has left me with no other choice. If you’re able to support me in any way, I would be deeply grateful.
