Bettyanne's Path to Recovery Needs You

Hi,

My name is Rachel Ponder. My Aunt Bettyanne was in a life-changing accident on August 15th of this year. She was riding in an Access van, and as the van was making a left turn, it was struck by another vehicle. Bettyanne is suffering multiple internal injuries, including liver and kidney damage (she now gets dialysis three times a week), leg wounds, an abdominal wound that is still open, numerous fractures, and a tracheostomy attached to a ventilator that now helps her breathe.

Although originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Bettyanne has lived a very independent lifestyle in the Los Angeles area for over 40 years with no immediate family nearby. She is now in need of her family's support and advocacy. We are asking for your help to get medical transport for Bettyanne back to St. Louis, where she will be surrounded by family who can be with her daily through her healing journey. Insurance does not pay for this medical transport!
