Betty spent the last 6 years of her life kicking cancer in the butt! On Monday 10th October 2022 Betty Persson nee Emanouel closed her eyes, took her last breath, spread her wings and started singing with the angels in heaven.

Betty & her loving husband Mikael are parents to gorgeous 6 year old Olle. Together with Betty's devoted, loving mother, Diana, they unwaveringly supported Betty through every step of her combat with cancer.

Betty was an extraordinary mother & wife. She was fiercely loyal & protective of her mother, Diana. Godmother to Adalaida & Amelia, she was inspirational & loved both girls dearly.

Betty personified grace, love & empathy! She had a smile that made everyone smile. She was always ready to help & support anyone that needed it yet, she seldom ever asked for help herself nor did she expect it. Betty was gentle, kind & humble.

Betty was beautiful & oh WOW, that girl could SING! It's wonderful to know that her voice will forever be one of the angels singing when we reach heaven.

What continues to play on my mind is Betty's family. Her mother Diana, husband Mikael & son Olle. Over the last 6 years Betty was unable to work. Diana was her Carer and has hardly worked in this time either. Are there medical bills? Funerals cost so much money & at the time of planning them, you are grieving & not thinking of money! Mikael can't go straight back to work, he is grieving & spending time trying to help Olle through this.
