Honoring Betty Gal Tyson’s Legacy

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

We come together today to honor the life of Betty Gal Tyson, a remarkable soul who touches the life of many. Betty’s journey was one of strength and resu, as she spent 25 years of her life in prison on a wrongful conviction, and even after her release, continued to give her all to those she loved and left behind.

Tragically, Betty is currently in a coma after suffering a heart attack, and her family has made the difficult decision to let go of life support. As we face this heartbreaking reality, we are compelled to provide Betty aka Nanny with the dignified farewell she deserves.

Betty’s kindness, love and selflessness knew no bounds, and now it’s our turn to give back. Unfortunately, there is no insurance in place to cover the cost of her funeral expenses. As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and provide Betty with a proper burial, celebrating the impact she had on all our lives.

We humbly ask for your support during this challenging time. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in ensuring Betty’s memory lives on through a respectful and meaningful send-off.
