Carlos Maldonado

Dearest family and friends,

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I inform you that my uncle Carlos has been recruited by God. He earned his wings early morning on June 16th, 2020.

A week ago he had gotten some blood clots in one of his legs and they managed to remove them. However his health took a turn for the worse. He was rushed to the ER on Friday, June 12th. He had gotten an infection in his blood, his immune system was too weak to fight it off. The doctors tried everything but they could not do anything for him. The doctors notified my auntie immediately and he was able to go home to spend his last hours with his beautiful wife, my auntie Betty, and his wonderful step-son, my cousin Kevin. He passed away peacefully in my auntie's arms later that early morning...

If anyone got the chance to meet my uncle Carlos, you know he was a fun loving individual! He loved to hangout with family! Loved to travel! He especially loved being with my auntie Betty and Kevin! He was always smiling! That man never had a bad day! Always had a way to make others smile when they were feeling down! Made the funniest jokes too! He loved grilling for his family! Always wanted to cook for them! 

My auntie had to take three weeks off without pay to take care of my uncle. We did not think that it would have turned out like this. Especially with everything going on in this world. We need your help family and friends with funeral costs. Please. Please. Any little bit helps.  Some of us have been able to help with his medical bill and rent. We truly appreciate it! My auntie is going through a really hard time grieving my uncle. Thank you all so so much.
