Share God's Grace By Helping Fund My Book Launch!
MY BRIEF BACKGROUND
My name is Ryan Haley, and I've spent most of my life on the treadmill of self-effort and performance. To some degree this drivenness has helped me to "succeed" and accomplish some things in life, like getting an ROTC college scholarship and becoming a Navy helicopter pilot. But I've realized that the costs of self-effort have been far higher than the benefits.
In 2007 my life changed dramatically when I crashed a Navy helicopter. Miraculously, the other crew members and I survived and were able to walk away from the crash. As a result, though, my flying career was ended. But a renewed relationship with God and dramatic life change was just beginning...
MY BOOK'S PURPOSE
This is part of the story I tell in my upcoming book, A Better Way: God's Design for Less Stress, More Rest, and Greater Success. The purpose of the book is to share the life-giving power and practicality of God's amazing grace. For me personally, a defining aspect of God's grace is entering into a place of rest from the cessation of self-effort. My goal is to share how entering into this rest from a revelation of God's pure grace and perfect love not only frees us from condemnation, guilt, and self-focused performance; but also leads to very practical, bottom-line results in our lives and businesses. This is what I refer to as "where the supernatural meets the practical".
When we're living under God's grace and following the often-times counterintuitive and countercultural leading of the Holy Spirit in how we make decisions, our lives and businesses will demand a supernatural explanation! This serves as a powerful witness to those around us: not only due to the undeniable success and blessing in our lives, but perhaps more importantly from the way in which those blessings and practical results are achieved. We don't have to toil and strive through our own effort to achieve success by living from our limited human strength and wisdom. We can tap into God's infinite power and wisdom with less stress, more rest, and greater success than we could ever achieve on our own! This is what I mean by "A Better Way". In this book I will be using high-impact stories and testimonies from my own life and the lives of others, as well as powerful scriptural illustrations/metaphors, to bring the Word of God to life in a fresh and unique way. My desire and expectation is that this will encourage and inspire people to trust God in a deeper way; leading to greater freedom, fulfillment, prosperity, and wholeness through a relationship with Jesus. I believe this will mean people giving their lives to Jesus for the first time, as well as people going much deeper in the relationship with Jesus they already have.

MY FUNDRAISING GOAL AND TIMELINES
The final version of the book is now complete, and should be published and available for sale within about 3 weeks!
TOTAL NEEDED: $10,000
DUE DATE: APRIL 20, 2020
(Note: the $10,000 goal differs from what was stated in the video due to some additional publishing and shipping costs)
We just need to raise the last $2,500 by April 20 to hit the goal.
This last $2,500 is to cover the last required payment to the publisher 3 days before the publishing date (which we're planning for April 23). The publisher has put together editing, cover design, a variety of formats (including Kindle, paperback, and several others), a press release, multiple distribution channels, and a proprietary marketing research formula to achieve "Amazon #1 Bestseller" status.
This particular publisher has been extremely successful in using this approach, with almost all of their clients achieving #1 status in at least one (and many times, multiple) categories. They produce a very professional, high-quality product that people want to buy and read. Ultimately to me, this just means more people being reached and impacted by the Gospel.
