Making A Game Better Than reSyNCh
((ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO LOCAL CHARITIES! DONATE AND HELP THE HOMELESS!))
Hello. My name is Claire, and I am NOT a game developer.
Yes, you heard that right. I have absolutely 0 experience with game development. This means I have at least one thing in common with 2012's and now 2016's biggest name in gaming - the "studio" that "brought" you The Arkh Project and the upcoming totally unique RPG that's not like anything you've ever played, reSyNCh.
So why am I developing a game, you ask? Why am I asking you for your hard earned 15 dollars? Because I want to make a game. More specifically, I want to make a game that's better than reSyNCh. After hours of "storyboarding" and working on concept "art" and "plot", I've concluded that I only need 15 USD to make a game better than reSyNCh, despite having no experience making games of any kind.
What's the money for, though? That's where we get into the nitty-gritty details. I've studied the development patterns of the greatest studio in gaming and I've figured out that the hardest part of game development is telling everyone how hard game development is via social media. The 15 dollars is going to go towards a wrist brace, or some kind of hand massage, to make sure that my 5000+ word essays on how hard it is to make a game don't hurt my hands or cause me to develop carpal tunnel. It's a very real risk in this "industry".
So, we've got that out of the way. What's this game about anyway? Well, let me tell you what I have planned.
- It's going to probably be a visual novel.
- I guarantee that it will have AT LEAST one more hour of content than reSyNCh.
- It's going to be a bit on the experimental side.
- Your fantroll might be canon.
Here, have some concept art.
It took me almost a year of brainstorming to come up with this idea. I hope you like it.
All extra money will be donated to a local charity that feeds the homeless or very needy!
