Better life for Faith
Donation protected
Faith was spotted near a church while we were looking for another dog, but she clearly wanted to be saved. We came prepared with a trap, however, as soon as we called out to her she began wagging her tail! So, we knew we would not need the trap after all. Once we got her in the car, we saw how bad her condition was. She has severe mange, a growth on her neck, was covered in fleas, and is severely malnourished. Despite all of that, she is nothing but sweet.
She has been given a medicated bath, Capstar and nexgard. we will take her to get basic vaccines and heartworm test tomorrow. She has a long journey ahead, but we will do what we can to help her.
She will need to be spayed, evaluated by a vet, likely will need heartworm treatment, and we will have to sort out what the mass on her neck is and treat accordingly. She will go to boarding until we can find a foster. That will also add up quickly.
Rescues are drowning, so we are raising funds to offset medical expenses.
Any extra funds raised will be used to help other dogs like her.
