National Youth Leadership Forum

On January 2, 2017, Elizabeth (Betsy) Penrose was nominated by her teacher, Ms. Jacquelyn Vizza to represent Boothwyn Elementary School at the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Pathways to STEM. STEM, for all that question this, is the Studies of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. During this week she will be learning about modern medicine, robotics, criminal justice science and more. This is pretty much a week of college for Betsy and will give her a nurturing environment in expand on leadership, self-awareness and empathy.
We are reaching out today to help make Betsy's opportunity come true. She needs to enroll by the end of January and the scholarship she was awarded only covers $200 of the cost of the course. We are asking for your help and anything you can give will be greatly appreciated.
