Betsy Donehoo’s Medical Expenses

Thank you for visiting Betsy Donehoo’s fundraising site! Betsy has had a recurrence of multiple myeloma, which had been in remission since her last round of treatments in 2011. Multiple myeloma is a cancer that affects plasma cells in the blood, leading to decreased amounts of other blood cells, weakened bones, and a decreased immune response. She is facing several months of chemotherapy ​along with a stem cell transplant planned toward the end of her treatment. Between out-of-pocket medical costs and travel and lodging expenses to/from Flagstaff and Phoenix for medical appointments, she and Brian are facing some unexpected large bills over the next few months. We want to raise as much money as possible to help offset the costs, so that Betsy can focus on her treatments and fight this disease back into remission!


Our starting goal is $50,000, which we hope will cover the costs of the next few months.
