Hi, I’m Beto.

In November 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer with metastases to my liver. Since then, I’ve gone through every treatment available within the public healthcare system, doing everything I can to keep moving forward.

Recently, the disease progressed, and I reached a point where there are no more options currently available to me within that system.

That was a hard moment to face.

But it’s not the end.

Today, there is a new path I can take, a combination of immunotherapy and radiosurgery. It’s not guaranteed, and it won’t be easy, but it is a real chance.

A chance to keep going, to keep building, to keep living.

I am actively working to get this treatment approved within the public system, but that process can take months and time is critical.

Waiting could make a significant difference.

Because of that, I’ve made the decision to start this treatment privately.

The challenge is that the cost is high, and I need help to be able to sustain it.

Hola, soy Beto.

En Noviembre 2024 fui diagnosticado con cáncer gástrico en etapa 4 con metástasis en el hígado. Desde entonces he seguido todos los tratamientos disponibles dentro del sistema público de salud, haciendo todo lo posible por seguir adelante.

Recientemente, la enfermedad avanzó y llegué a un punto donde actualmente no hay más opciones disponibles dentro de ese sistema.

Fue un momento difícil de asimilar.

Pero no es el final.

Hoy existe un nuevo camino: una combinación de inmunoterapia y radiocirugía. No es un camino garantizado ni fácil, pero es una oportunidad real.

Una oportunidad de seguir, de seguir construyendo, de seguir viviendo.

Estoy gestionando activamente la aprobación de este tratamiento dentro del sistema público, pero ese proceso puede tomar meses y el tiempo es esencial.

Esperar puede marcar una diferencia importante.

Por eso he tomado la decisión de iniciar este tratamiento de forma privada.

El reto es que el costo es alto, y necesito ayuda para poder sostenerlo.
