Beto Jimenez's Medical Fund
Donación protegida
Hi, my name is Temo Ortiz, and I am the CEO and President of Tequila's Town Mexican Restaurant and Tacos + Tequila, where Beto Jimenez has worked for the past eight years. Today, I don't speak to you as Beto's supervisor but as his friend, colleague and grateful employer.
On Thursday, November 17th, Beto was having lunch after finishing his morning work at the restaurant, and he felt a sharp pain in his back, followed by profound sweet, leg numbness and difficulty breathing. He was rushed to Memorial Health Medical University, and after several scans and tests, the doctors determined it was caused by high blood pressure and heart conditions.
Further scans and an MRI revealed that Beto had a ruptured aorta, which is his main heart artery. His condition has been complicated by very high blood pressure and, most recently, an infection in his lungs. Beto's cardiologist has not yet determined a path for treatment, as open heart surgery is risky in his condition. He is currently on a ventilator as he cannot breathe independently. We expect Beto to remain in the hospital for an undetermined amount of time until medical treatment is decided.
Please pray for Beto and his family. The funds we seek to raise will cover costly medical expenses related to his treatment, an extended hospital stay, and possibly open heart surgery. Beto's family and I thank you for anything you can contribute, whether large or small.
Every dollar will help and be multiplied by all of our efforts. Again, thank you and God bless.
