Hello, my name is Raudel, and I'm fundraising for my cousin Beto so he can afford a place to live and food to eat until his economic & physical status improves. On September 28th, 2021, on a visit back from working a seasonal job in Alaska, he decided to take a walk to the store when the unfortunate happened. On his way back, two vehicles collided at a nearby intersection, causing one of the vehicles to run off the road onto the sidewalk, striking Beto and leaving him unconscious. When he woke up, his left foot was sheered off from the shin down. Thankfully, some good samaritans saved his life by applying a tourniquet to stop him from bleeding until the medics arrived. Doctors couldn't save his leg, so they decided to amputate below the knee, but this process came with complications that needed ~10 surgeries and one month of hospitalization. Aside from this major injury, Beto also received a head injury which has caused issues with his vision, hearing, and speech.As expected, this incident has been very traumatizing for Beto. He has been stressed and depressed, fighting an uphill battle not only with the realization of losing a leg but the legal actions against the parties involved, one of who has evaded court orders and is currently on the run with a warrant for their arrest. As of today, one year after the accident, Beto has not received any financial reward. He's also been denied disability and unemployment. He has looked for a job but cannot find any due to his condition and resources. Therefore, he has no income from any source right now. If and when he does receive financial relief from the case, Medi-Cal will charge him for his medical expenses. Beto is currently homeless with nowhere to go but to stay at my house, but we cannot accommodate him adequately. He lost both his parents a few years ago due to diabetes and cancer. Beto has run out of the money he had saved before the accident. My family and I have only been able to do so much and can only do so much. This is why the gofundme is so important.

As initially stated, the funds will be used for Beto to afford a place to live, food, a better prosthetic leg, and continue a good life till his situation improves.

Hola, mi nombre es Raudel, y estoy pidiendo ayuda para mi primo Beto para que pueda conseguir un lugar donde vivir y comer mientras su situacion economica y fisica mejora, ya q el dia 28 de septimbre 2021 fue atropellado cuando salio a caminar asia la tienda y al regresar en una interseccion ubo un choque de dos automoviles y uno de ellos de la velocidad que yebaba se fue asta el amputandole su pie izquierdo al instante quedando inconsiente y desangrandose no solo de la pierna si no tambien de su cabesa, y gracias a la ayuda de una buena mujer que le dio los primeros auxilios asiendole un torniquete en la pierna ya que sin eso el no ubiera sobrevivido... pero despues de eso el sufrio barias siruguias como 10 ya que lo sometieron a barias como reconstruir y limpiesa durante todo un mes que estubo hospitalisado.

Al no contar con un hogar ni padres ya que uno murio de canser y el otro de dibetes el no cuenta con ningun familiar sercano mas que yo, lo apollamos pero no tengo espacio para poderlo apollar mejor, ya que ni el seguro, ni el desempleo, lo an apollado al contrario se lo an negado.

Yeba un proceso juridico pero no le an apollado por que el hombre que lo atropello pago una fiansa y se dio a la fuga. Beto a tratado de conseguir empleo pero por su discapasidad nse lo an negado aparte que no cuenta con un veiculo para moverse. No recibe dinero por ningun lado ahorita. Es por eso esta Gofundme es muy importante.

El dinero se var dar a Beto para que tenga sufficiente para un lugar para vivir or rentar, un protesis mejor, para comer y posiblemente un carro para ir a trabajar porque como dije ahorita no tiene ningun ayuda.
