Beth's Medical Battle: Seeking Support

Hi everyone. I’m Beth, I have been struggling& suffering greatly with an undiagnosed chronic illness for over a year now. I have been completely unable to work due to this condition. I have several doctor’s appointments a week followed almost always by tests and procedures. Never-mind feeling awful every day.

Rheumatology, who I finally got to see 5/5, (we think) finally has an idea of what may be going on but I still have to complete an extensive work up and see two more specialists before we’re certain that diagnosis is correct. It is an extremely rare condition affecting 0.5 out of 100,000 people.

if it is, I will be on a slew of immunosuppressants and infusions.

I have been living in constant pain, with constant flare ups of this illness that has completely prevented my ability to work. One thing definitively diagnosed is eosinophilic asthma for which I’ve started injections biweekly - along with a plethora of other medications.

It has been extremely difficult to ask for help during this time but I just cannot continue to live off of no / hardly any income and medical bills, even with insurance, are astronomical. Any prayers or support, love or positivity sent this way would be so beyond appreciated at this time and I’m hoping that once diagnosed I’ll be able to go back to my passion of nursing. And pay it forward.
