Beth's Legal Expenses

Beth is a single mom who recently escaped an abusive relationship with just her life and her children. Her ex is facing multiple felony charges from an incident during which he tried to kill her and their unborn child (Remi) - including kidnapping, strangulation, and assault. His criminal trial hasn't started yet, but he has recently retained a lawyer to petition for custody of Remi, and their court date is rapidly approaching. Without resources to quickly retain her own lawyer, Beth is at serious risk of this man receiving custody.
