Beth’s Fight Against NUTM1 Sarcoma
Donation protected
My mom, Beth, is one of the strongest people I know. Last year, she was diagnosed with an incredibly rare and aggressive form of cancer called NUTM1-rearranged colorectal sarcoma. There is no established treatment plan. There is no known cure.
In April of last year, she joined a clinical trial — a rare and difficult opportunity — in hopes it might offer a chance. But after three grueling months, the trial made her extremely sick and didn’t produce any positive results. Despite the setback, she continues to fight every single day.
Her doctors are now recommending chemotherapy, though it’s uncertain whether it will work. In the meantime, her condition is worsening — her lymph nodes have shown new growth, and she now has a lesion on her pancreas.
What’s even harder is that she’s trying to bear all of this while also managing the crushing weight of medical bills. She would never ask for help herself — she’s far too proud — but the truth is: she needs it. Our family is doing everything we can, but we can’t keep up with the costs of treatment, appointments, scans, medications, and daily living expenses.
This fundraiser is to help ease that burden. So Beth can focus on her health. So we can spend time with her without the constant fear of how to make ends meet. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her care and medical expenses.
If you’re able to give, thank you — truly. And if you can’t give, sharing this page with your friends and loved ones means just as much. Thank you for helping us stand by Beth in this fight.
