Beth's Birthday Fundraiser for COMPAS

June 11th, 2020 would have been Beth Linnerson-Daly's 85th birthday. We had a plan to celebrate her life with family, friends, former students and community at The Conservatory Mansion in Trenton, NJ. But with the pandemic and recent racial turmoil in our country, we obviously will not do an in-person celebration.
In lieu of an event, we have set up this fundraiser for COMPAS (Conservatory Of Music and Performing Arts Society) to enable The Conservatory Mansion to renovate and maintain The Beth Linnerson-Daly Cultural Resource Library, the very space where, for the past eight years, she offered a diversity of cultural instructional resources to countless teachers in the City of Trenton, the County of Mercer and beyond, as well as a variety of arts education, arts-integrated programs, classes and field trips to children of all ages.
Beth was and will always remain a significant and vital component and proponent of the mission, vision and goal of both COMPAS and The Conservatory Mansion. Her legacy will continue so that her decades of work and time she dedicated to the arts around the state and country will continue to touch many lives!
As we move forward and raise our awareness of the systemic issues that have plagued our country, this is the perfect time to help COMPAS and The Conservatory Mansion continue their efforts in the Trenton community that Beth loved and participated in throughout the years. Jacqui and The Conservatory have been a safe harbor for the Black community, which has been hit hard during this crisis.
Beth had a vision for her little library that Jacqui joyfully accepted and has taken on. When the time comes to safely re-open their doors, the hope will be that the library will continue to be a place for inner-city kids to learn and connect, and where people working toward degrees in education can go to earn credits for their programs.
