"Support Bethel and Beyond" is an organization made up of Bethel residents and restaurant owners; Taproot, House of Yoshida and La Zingara. We are raising money for local restaurants who will make and deliver meals to the food insecure people of Bethel and surrounding towns during the COVID-19 crisis.  We are also trying to support the more  recently food insecure restaurant workers who may be jobless.   We plan to cook from these restaurants and deliver to the people, through already established organizations. Please  help support both your local restaurants and the people  working selflessly to keep your community well. So many people need help and that number is growing every day. 

How it works:   We will work with local
organizations who work directly with people in need.   The funds that are raised will be put directly into a
private bank account.   Once we know the number of people in need of a meal, the restaurant
participating will receive a check from the
private account which contains the funds from the gofundme.   

By supporting us you not only help your neighbors in the community but also allow your local businesses to continue to operate in this trying time.
